Many school computer networks have strict internet security
settings. If you receive a COOKIE ERROR message, then you will need to ask your
IT Manager to add www.mycareermatch.co.uk to the list of trusted sites.
If you still encounter a Cookie message it means that your
cookie security settings are too high and you need to reduce to a Low level or
select ”allow session cookies” in Internet Explorer. Here’s how to.

for Internet Explorer to reset COOKIE handling
1. Open browser
2. Go to TOOLS
3. Select INTERNET OPTIONS
4. Select PRIVACY
5. Select ADVANCED
6. Select box labelled OVERRIDE AUTO COOKIE HANDLING
7. Select box labelled ALWAYS ALLOW SESSION COOKIES
8. Click OK to exit Advanced screen
9. Click OK to exit Internet Options
To add MyCareerMatch as a TRUSTED SITE
1. Go to TOOLS
2. Select INTERNET OPTIONS
3. Select PRIVACY
4. Select SITES
5. Enter in box labelled ADDRESS OF WEBSITE
6. Enter www.mycareermatch.co.uk
7. Click ALLOW
8. mycareermatch.co.uk will display
9. Click CLOSE
10. Click OK to exit Internet Options
